Some say coconut oil is a “superfood” that supports heart health and strengthens the immune system, but did you know that it is effective in the following 5 uses?

Heals Frizzy Hair

If your want to heal your frizzy, dry or dull hair, coconut oil is the answer! Massage coconut oil onto your scalp and hair and let is sit for as long as possible – you can even leave it on overnight. Then shampoo and condition as you normally do. Repeat as long as you need. You will see your hair transformed.

Disinfects Your Mouth For Better Health

Simply use coconut oil instead of mouthwash to disinfect your mouth. Take a small spoonful of coconut oil and swish around your mouth between the teeth, for as long as you can – ideally about 15 minutes, then spit out and rinse your mouth with water.

This process is called “oil pulling” and pulls out bacteria, viruses and fungi from your mouth. This not only helps with oral health but with healing your entire body by preventing harmful elements from entering the body.

Can Be Used As Makeup Remover

Dab coconut oil onto a cotton pad and gently remove makeup. Repeat until all makeup is removed. Gently wipe off remaining oil with a clean cotton pad or tissue paper.

Reduces Fine Lines And Wrinkles

Coconut oil can help with reducing fine lines and wrinkles by keeping your connective tissues firm, facilitating skin exfoliation, and preventing thinning and sagging skin.

Simply apply a thin layer of coconut oil to your problem areas.

Heals Clogged Ears

If your ears feel clogged, it may be due to excess earwax buildup. Place a few drops of coconut oil in your ear, and let it sit for 3 minutes. This will soften the wax. Then pour a capful of 3 percent hydrogen peroxide in your ear and let it sit for 3 minutes or until the bubbling sensation subsides. This will help flush the wax out. Wipe the ear gently with a towel.

Only do this once a day. Warm the coconut oil in a microwave if needed, and make sure to check that it is not hot on your hand first!
